INBLOGURATION

Oil tanker passing below Belmont near Anacortes, WA

This is way overdue. And actually, it’s my 3rd attempt at making a website.

Back in ’22 I watched a YouTube video during my first season flying air attack out in Show Low, Arizona, that gave step by step instructions on how to make a ~blog~ , which was awesome until it came time to make it my own. I actually paid a guy to make it more “me” and he did a really good job. But I became less motivated by it once we started flying a little more, and eventually we moved the airplane north to Omak, Washington where wifi was weak and then we just got pretty busy and forgot about it.

It’s about time it happened for real though, and I am overflowing with thoughts and ideas. I have to somehow sever the nerve with social media, but I take like 83 pictures a day that I just can’t keep to myself. So welcome to “Chelsea’s Journey to Becoming a Pirate Historian”. I’ll outline my plans for this site in future ~blog~ posts, but I do want to make it known that I so hate the word ~blog~ and will henceforth refer to this all as my journal, something I am excited to keep.

I made this site entirely by myself with the help of that same YouTube guy and ChatGPT. I finally understand the power of AI and I am now very scared but also so shocked at how incredible it is to be able to have something that isn’t real be able to instruct you on literally anything in the style of teaching you need. What even in the heck. With that being said, chelseasjourneytobecomingapiratehistorian.com is not perfect and I look forward to polishing it as time goes on, but I need to start giving it life, so here we go!

Also, there is no doubt in my mind that my parents may be the only people that ever look at this, and honestly that is a-okay. I’m doing it for them, so they can keep track of where I am and what I’m doing and see that they should have put me into time out more as a kid 🙂

Thank’s for visiting 🙂
